In the Begining

Where do I begin???  Well let's start with why BMX is so important to me.  As I reflect to back when I was a kid, all I can think about is how much fun it was to get on my bike and just ride and jump anything and everything.  It was such a carefree lifestyle that allowed me to express myself in my daily BMX adventures.  As I got older I ventured away from BMX and into skateboarding of which I loved also, but life got different and things came and went but I always remained on 2 wheels in one form or another.

Fast forward to a several years back when I had a pretty bad mountain bike crash doing some downhill chutes, and up until this past January I was hesitant to get back on a bike and ride at any level.  Over the past 5 years I have also been fine tuning my passion for photography and ventured back into the BMX world of freestyle of which was such an awesome experience.  Thus it led me to the BMX racing scene of which I have been hooked on ever since.  This past January I decided to get back on a bike , of which I started on a 24" race cruiser and realized that trying to race it against vet pro's of whom pretty much cover the cruiser class in the racing circuit and at that point I jumped on a 20" BMX bike of which I got hooked up with some photography work for Tangent Products.  I have now been racing for about 6 months and have progressed at a steady rate and now I am about to race my first national race as a Novice, I am a bit nervous but at the same time I am as stoked as ever!!  Follow me as I continue on my BMX quest both through my photography and my BMX racing.
Much respect- VPW
